Astro FAQ

Astrology for the Brave (and Slightly Spooky)

Q: What is astrology?

A: Astrology is the ancient art of blaming the planets for your problems. It’s also a way to understand yourself, your relationships, and why you think Mercury seems to enjoy ruining your life every few months.

Q: Do horoscopes actually work?

A: That depends. If you’re looking for vague but oddly specific life advice, yes. If you’re expecting a horoscope to predict the exact moment your cat will knock over your coffee, probably not but that's another story.

Q: What’s my sun sign?

A: Your sun sign is determined by the day you were born. It’s the one you probably already know, the one you read about when you want to feel validated or personally attacked.

Q: What’s the deal with Mercury retrograde?

A: It’s when Mercury appears to move backward, and suddenly, your texts don’t send, your ex resurfaces, and your Wi-Fi stops working. In other words, simple chaos.

Q: Do I need to know my birth time?

A: If you want to dive deep into astrology, yes. If you just want to know why you’re so moody, your sun sign is enough. Ask your parents, check your birth certificate, or summon a time-traveling astrologer.

Q: Is astrology science?

A: Not exactly. It’s more of an ancient wisdom meets psychological insight meets “Wow, this is freakishly accurate” kind of thing.

Q: Can astrology tell the future?

A: Astrology can predict themes and cycles, but it won’t tell you exactly when you’ll trip over your own feet. (Though, if you’re a Pisces, it’s probably soon.)

Q: Why do people say astrology is just confirmation bias?

A: Because it is. But so is thinking your lucky socks help your team win. Let people have their fun.

Q: What if I don’t relate to my zodiac sign?

A: You have an entire birth chart full of planetary placements shaping your personality. If your sun sign doesn’t fit, blame your moon or rising sign. Or just embrace the fact that you are, indeed, an enigma. Your entire natal chart explains further.

Q: Where can I learn more?

A: Right here, obviously. Stick around, and I’ll keep you entertained, informed, and mildly spooked by how accurate astrology can be. Books are another great tool besides actually studying others and their one of a kind charts.
